Large holiday house with a patio and a garden in a quiet location

This large holiday home is located in a quiet residential area in the fishing harbour of Guilvinec. The house has a private, enclosed garden.

The two storey house was renovated in 2006 and can accommodate up to eight people. The fully furnished kitchen with a dining table is located on the ground floor. Additionally, there is a living room and a separate dining room with a beautiful dining table and chairs made of dark wood and a matching cupboard. The house boasts a total of four bedrooms. The first bedroom on the ground floor is furnished with a double bed. The utility room with a washing machine, a toilet and a shower with a sink can also be found on the ground floor. Three bedrooms are located on the top floor. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with double beds and the third one is furnished with a single bed. The bathroom offers a bathtub, a sink and a toilet.

The terrace has garden furniture (table and eight chairs), a parasol and three sun loungers. The property is fenced and therefore perfect for children and dogs. A second parasol and many outdoor games are available for the beach.

Shopping facilities, the beach and the fishing harbour can be reached on foot. The centre of town, which offers access to the harbour, has a variety of shops and amenities. During the summer months, a market takes place on Sundays and Tuesdays, where many regional specialties are on offer. Don't miss out on many of the free activities, such as Celtic music concerts taking place Thursdays. The vicinity is ideal for long walks and bicycle tours.

    “Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet, die Möbel sind etwas veraltet, es ist super sauber und für unsere Verhältnisse völlig in Ordnung im Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Es liegt zentral, nahe zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und zum Strand.”

    “In het vakantiehuisje was al het noodzakelijke aanwezig. Heel net en onderhouden. Door de sobere inrichting, was er echter een gebrek aan een zekere warmte. Maar het onthaal door de eigenares en haar vriendelijkheid compenseerde veel.”

    “Hervorragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wie man bei dem Preisniveau erwarten kann ist es kein Designer-Haus, sondern eher einfach und mit recht alten Möbeln eingerichtet. Aber alles ist in gutem Zustand, alle Geräte funktionieren und das Haus ist sauber und ordentlich. Die Betten sind eher kurz und relativ schmal, daher ist die Unterkunft vielleicht eher für 5-6 als für 8 Personen zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig. Größter Pluspunkt ist die Ausstattung. Nicht nur Mikrowelle, Wasch- und Spülmaschine sind vorhanden, sondern auch Sonnenschirme und Klappstühle (auch zum Mitnehmen an den Strand), Grill, sämtliche Prospekte von Museen und anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung (den Ganz zur Touristeninformation kann man sich im Prinzip sparen), Bügelbrett, Bügeleisen, Raclettegerät, ein Federballspiel, Küchenmixer, großer Topf zum Hummer kochen, für die Kinder gibt es Lego, Puzzles, Sandspielzeug, Käscher, einen Ball, und vieles andere mehr.

    Die Vermieterin spricht nur französisch aber ist sehr nett und die Kommunikation hat trotz gewisser Sprachprobleme sehr gut geklappt. Wer kein französisch spricht sollte (falls gewünscht) Bettzeug und Endreinigung am besten im Vorfeld über den Anbieter vorbuchen, die leiten die Anfrage dann an die Vermieterin weiter. Entfernung zum Strand ca. 800m, zum Ortskern ca. 500m, also alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Der nächste Supermarkt ist nicht mehr ganz in Lauf-Reichweite, aber dafür gibt es im Umkreis von 10km gleich 3 Supermärkte, die Sonntags morgens geöffnet sind, ideal bei Anreisetag Samstag! Einen eigenen Parkplatz hat das Haus nicht, aber in unmittelbarer Umgebung (oft gleich vor dem Haus, aber höchstens 100m weiter) haben wir immer problemlos einen Parkplatz gefunden.”
