A holiday in nature

The quiet side street in Ickelheim is only about 4 minutes from the spa town Bad Windsheim and about 25km from Rothenburg ob der tauber. The towns Nürnberg, Würzburg and Bamberg are within an hour by car. It is on the outskirts, surrounded by orchards with grazing ponies. The listed timber-framed house about 190 years old is at the end of the street, surrounded by greenery. It is a quiet residential area.

The accommodation features a mix of antiques, solid wood furniture and modern elements. The former wing of a barn houses a 90m² holiday apartment. Owing to the floor-to-ceiling panoramic window, plenty of daylight floods the open living space on the ground floor. In addition, many little windows open up a variety of views. You can cook together here, dine and sit comfortably in front of the fireplace. The beds are upstairs, where solid wood floorboards, the exposed quarrystone walls and beams exude a cosy atmosphere. Two people can sleep in the iron bed, while two others can sleep in the so-called “wood chamber” in two solid wood single beds. There are connecting doors from the two bedrooms to the modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. The historical flair, stylish interior and individuality make this holiday apartment amidst nature a very special experience.

You can help yourself to the little herb garden. You can enjoy balmy summer evenings with a glass of wine by the campfire in the garden.
